Reservation Terms & Conditions

Thank you for reserving Atlas Chess. These terms explain how our reservation system works before the Kickstarter campaign launches.

How It Works

Choose Founding Backer, Priority Access, or Early Bird before launch to receive access to limited Kickstarter pricing. Paid reservation fees are refundable within 7 days of the Kickstarter campaign launch.

1. Reservation Options

Reservations help us estimate demand and reward our earliest supporters with the best launch pricing.

2. Founding Backer ($10)

Become one of the first 1000 Founding Backers and help bring Atlas to life.

As a Founding Backer, you'll receive:

  • Exclusive Founding Backer price of $129
  • Guaranteed access to the Founding Backer Secret Reward
  • Priority manufacturing and shipment of the first 1000 Atlas units
  • Permanent recognition on the Atlas Founding Members Wall (optional)
  • Priority consideration for our Early Access Testing Program, where up to 20 Founding Backers will be invited to test Atlas before commercial production begins
  • Exclusive eligibility for the Atlas Founding Contributors Program, where up to 5 Founding Backers who make exceptional contributions through ideas, feedback, and community involvement will receive a full refund of their Kickstarter pledge, making their Atlas completely free

How It Works

  1. Reserve today with a $10 Founding Backer reservation.
  2. Follow the Atlas Kickstarter Pre-Launch page before launch.
  3. Approximately 24 hours before launch, eligible supporters will receive a private Kickstarter Secret Reward invitation.
  4. Use the private invitation to pledge $119 on Kickstarter.

Important

  • The $10 reservation is not deducted from your Kickstarter pledge.
  • Secret Rewards are available only to eligible Founding Backers who followed the Kickstarter Pre-Launch page before launch.
  • Reservation fees are fully refundable within 7 days of the Kickstarter launch if you decide not to back the project.

3. Priority Access ($1)

Priority Access gives you an early opportunity to purchase Atlas before the public launch.

How it works:

  • Reserve today for $1.
  • Approximately 24 hours before launch, we'll email you early access instructions.
  • Purchase Atlas for $149, subject to availability.

Priority Access is not a Kickstarter Secret Reward.

Rewards remain available on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Refund Policy

Changed your mind?

No problem.

Simply contact us within *7 days of the Kickstarter campaign launch* and we'll refund your:

  • $10 Founding Backer reservation, or
  • $1 Priority Access reservation

No questions asked.

5. Reward Availability

Reservations provide priority access, not a guaranteed reward.

All Kickstarter rewards are limited in quantity and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

If a reward tier sells out before you complete your pledge, you'll be able to choose the next available reward.

6. Additional Information

  • One reservation per person.
  • Reservation fees are not product deposits.
  • Reservation fees are not deducted from your Kickstarter pledge.
  • Multiple Atlas units may be purchased during Kickstarter, subject to reward availability.
  • If Kickstarter changes or removes features such as Secret Rewards before launch, Atlas will provide an equivalent method of delivering the applicable Founding Backer benefits.
